Cron job file to be merged into /etc which keeps track of the total amount of bytes written to your SDXC-card (or any other block device of interest). Use this to keep track how many bytes have been written to your flash storage device. When it dies because of too much writing, one can anticipate how long the replacement medium can be expected to function before it will have to be replaced, too.
