Python_Web-Scraping_Projects_Exercises

For this exercise/project, I followed the web scraping tutorial at this URL to write a Python script called 'scrape.py' that can extract the roster of inmates at the Boone County Jail in Missouri from a local government website and save it as comma-delimited text (called 'inmates.csv') ready for analysis.

My_Code_Script_Samples

This repository contains some examples/samples of Python, Matlab, Fortran, IDL, NCL and Ferret code/scripts (in PDF, Microsoft Word, and text file format) I have written in the course of various projects described in my resume/CV and in my LinkedIn profile (http://www.linkedin.com/in/markyashar) that I worked on as a grad student at UCD, in postdoc positions, and for a coding challenge problem for an undisclosed company, along with some output plots (data visualization) and output text files.
