HKUST_Impressionist

Impressionist is an interactive program that creates pictures that look like impressionistic paintings. It is based on a paper and a program by Paul Haeberli. The purpose of this project is to experience working with image manipulation, OpenGL primitives, user-interface design, and image processing.

HKUST_Modeler

In this project you define a 3D model and controls for moving it, and then display and operate the model. In this project you will use OpenGL to create and animate a character of your own design. You will become familiar with 3D hierarchical modeling and transformations.

HKUST_Animator

In this project, you are required to extend a spline-based animation system to support multiple curve types, and implement a particle system simulation engine. After building a working system, you will use your (robust and powerful) program to produce a (compelling and arresting) animation.

HKUST_Trace

Trace is a program that constructs recursively ray-traced images of fairly simple scenes.
