Implemented using Java and Android Studio, a literature review conducted on Ad-Hoc Networking, Security, Protocols and Vulnerabilities. The implementation of the monitoring software was designed to operate on Android OS.The application has capability to host a mobile hotspot, monitor the connected nodes, their status and read the real-time device resource utilization. The application includes an auto-pilot mode which automatically enable the power saving mode and switch between 2G,3G and 4G connections depending on battery and system metrics. The implementation was thoroughly tested and the planning, requirement analysis, designing, implementation and testing phases were documented.
