Power-Of-Words-Learning-English

Power Of Words is an android application that aims to help early English language learners or children by using gameification. The application is a second year computing team project and includes games with visual ques that challenge the user to identify the English language word. There's a section for common problem words that helps with pronunciation etc. I worked on the overall UI and design of the application, and completed the "Letters & Numbers" section, where users can learn English words and associate them with images, before testing themselves on how many they can remember.

Learning-Support-Website---1st-year

This is a website project developed in 1st year of computing using HTML, JavaScript and CSS. The aim was to produce a well presented web interface for users to find information on learning supports at National College of Ireland. I developed the responsive framework of the website that was then customised to produce each page, such that all elements align correctly when changing pages. The CSS files allow for re-sizing by using floating elements and switching to an alternative CSS file when the width of the screen becomes less than the height (ie, on mobile device).
