EMOUSIC is a special sentiment analysis and opinion mining application. Indeed, when we think about sentiment analysis and opinion mining, we refer to the capability of understanding emotions, moods and viewpoints from textual information that we can find over the Internet, e.g. looking at the social media. With EMOUSIC, instead, our effort is trying to “read the music” – that is, inferring the same kind of information not from a song’s lyrics, but only using the song’s track.
