This repo builds a highly scalable, highly available and super cheap hosted static site, using a GCS bucket as the backend. There is edge caching for global content distribution and a https load balancer is deployed to terminate the SSL (TLS) connection from the client. SSL certificate issuance is handled for you. An nginx http redirect is deployed and run by an auto-scaling managed instance group so that all connections are always forwarded to https. A managed dns zone and dns records are created for your site, alongside CNAME records for the www subdomain.
