The aim of the course Program Analysis and Development is to acquaint students with the life cycle and developmental stages of a modern software product. Program development has become an important branch of industry that has its own laws and specific standards. The course goes through all the phases of the life cycle that a new software product undergoes: analysis of the system domain, specification of program requirements, methods and techniques of modeling programs, program development, program testing and debugging. In doing so, students learn the basic approaches used in the development and engineering of complex software systems and modern tools that facilitate these procedures.
