Here comes a list of Open Source projects where you can contribute without any programming knowledge. Tasks such as

The projects

  • List of all the awesome lists - A collection of URLs. Excellent way to send your first pull-request.

  • List of Open Source projects by corporations, Higher Education Institutions, and governments

  • Kantoniko the corner of Ladino on the Internet. You can contribute voice recordings, words in Ladino, translation of words. Sentences in Ladino, translation of sentences.

  • Cloud Native Glossary: CNCF Glossary explains cloud-native concepts and the terminologies involved in that ecosystem in simple language and does not require any prior technical background to grasp them. Individuals can start contributing to it by localizing/translating or modifying current terms or proposing new terms.

  • Code And Talk: Collecting data about tech conferences in JSON files. The README has links to the file describing how to add Events to the "database".

  • Common Voice: Mozilla's initiative to help teach machines to understand speech. Everybody can contribute voice recordings, validate recordings, (only English so far) and contribute sentences (all languages).

  • Godot Engine: 2D and 3D cross-platform game engine. Help with translating the engine and documentation or in lots of other ways.

  • LanguageTool: LanguageTool is an Open Source proofreading tool.

  • Oppia: Oppia is an online learning tool that enables anyone to easily create and share interactive activities.

  • A-to-Z-Resources-for-Students This is a dynamic list for everything you need to know for coders and non-coders. Make yourself comfortable updating the list and using any of the resources listed.

  • LearningOpportunity Guide that provides a quick and short tutorial on how to start contributing with GitHub.

  • Awesome App Ideas A list of app ideas. You can add your own app ideas. Non-Programmers can create app ideas for programmers looking through the list to solve.

  • CheatSheets: Cheat sheet documentation project that allows new/old contributors to add and reference most common commands for systems we know and love in a single place.

  • Owncast: A self-hosted livestreaming video and chat server that allows you to build experiences similar, but not limited to, big tech owned services. A great project for those interested in design, media, documentation, tutorials or community engagement.

  • WRITE A BLOG An awesome repository PET ME for contribution in hactoberfest as well.

  • The Turing Way: A series of open source guides about data science and AI. Contributors can add to new and ongoing chapters, work on translation efforts, contribute to infrastructure maintenance work within the project, and more.
