Brief is a Chat Style for Skype 5 on OS X.

How to install a custom SkypeChatStyle

NOTE: This will not work in Skype version 6.4 or above. Chat styles have been removed.

Go to your home folder ~/Library/Application Support/Skype/
Create a folder called ChatStyles if it doesn’t exist.
Drag the .SkypeChatStyle into this folder
Restart Skype.
Go to Skype Preferences and choose Brief in the Style dropdown in the Messaging section.
