In this assignment the Java imaging API was used to load, transcode and store images. It was also used the API to extract some basic metadata from the images and store them to a text file for fast access. The Java Sound API was used to load, decode, and process digital audio files (e.g., MP3, WAV). For video files is used the Xuggle API. For both media types it was extracted and processed content and some basic metadata.
