Archive-Vision is an open-source, image based search platform that is optimized for conducting searches of digitized 2-dimensional objects (such as manuscripts, prints, and paintings) using a Visual Dictionay and Bag Of Words approach. It is built on OpenCV, Lucene, and PHP. The project is currently under develpment as part of an NEH Start-Up funded project and the first public release is expected July, 2013.
